Tonight I had graduation for the first session of Beginner 101 that I have ever taught. The group was engaged – they listened, they asked questions, they did their homework. One reactive dog made huge strides in the six weeks we worked together. They plan to take a session off to practice in their own then come back to 101 to continue working.

If that weren’t enough, I found this card tucked beneath my binder. Inside was a heartfelt thank you from a woman and her funny little hound mix, calling my class a “warm place” in a long, cold winter.
